@kszaqJust wanted to let you know that the S905 project doesn't compile currently because of the `qca9377-aml` package, the source code changed upstream (minor name changes, but they didn't bother bumping their version up).
I modified your patch (qca9377-aml-001-Modify-SDIO-and-firmware-handling-to-support-chips-u.patch) to make it compile, here it is: dpaste: 17HDCXJ.
Thanks for the heads up. I will change the package to be based on githash, not branch name.
It's been a quiet week for LE 8.0 and Kodi 17 so let's break something. 
8.0.0f posted in OP with an experimental change to HW decoder that might improve seek and channel switching times - please report if they're better, worse or the same. There is also a performance bump for S905X (it's still a bit slower than S905 but the gap is now much smaller) and improvement to Bluetooth audio. Enjoy!

AFAIK S/DPIF as a standard is limited to 16 bits/48 kHz.

Perhaps in the newer build you need to change default power button action from "Power off" to "Suspend".
As far as I can tell there were no changes regarding suspend between 7.0.1.4 and 7.0.2.2.

I've just been having a bit of a play with that and when I run "cat /sys/class/mpgpu/cur_freq" after "echo 5 > /sys/class/mpgpu/cur_freq" it still shows as 666 on my s905. I tried "echo 6" out of curiosity and that's 666 too. Maybe the Beelink Mini MX III is limited to 666mhz?
