I tought I only have to edit the config.txt:
config.txt doesn't exist for Amlogic, perhaps you can use this configuration on RPi?
For now I cannot advise how to rotate HDMI output, don't know if it's possible.

Also, S905D should use custom fork by Kszaq or official build?
For now there is no official build for generic S905 or S912 devices.
For LibreELEC S905/D/X is preferred over S912.
Btw, Kszaq, are you maybe from Poland?
kszaq can you confirm 8.2.1.2 was compiled 5th December 2017.
I am 99.99% sure i updated but in system info i see 17.6 with this date.
Just checking as i previously had an issue way back where i had to use device tree to make a previous update stick.
8.2.1.2 was compiled on 15th December. You may see an earlier date in System Info if Kodi was compiled earlier and I made no changes since then. I am compiling to one folder to save space and time.
KyleS output_rgb parameter is read-only.
Tomorrow I will ask a developer who has the board about ideas on the MAC address.
In the meantime LoveRPi offered me a sample board so I should be able to solve that kind of issues much easier.
EDIT: I found it, can someone tell me if the "use slide animation" option is set to on by default in LibreELEC?
In my builds this option is turned off by default in Estuary.
LuRcH You can always try this image: LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-8.2.1.2-LePotato.img.gz
MAC address issue should be solved in u-boot config/commands but I am shooting in the dark with this.
eddie Install Network Tools addon from LibreELEC repository.
The installation is running in a usb but after watching a movie the GUI became really slow.
After or during? If you watch a movie @24fps, GUI also switches to 24Hz and it can appear to be slower.
cata747 Can you please try using this image: LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-8.2.1.2.1-LePotato.img.gz
I fixed u-boot configuration, hope this will help the MAC address issue.
I use the dtb from @wrxtasy should i turn off auto updates to avoid any issue later on?
You don't have to. Auto-update won't replace your device tree if it doesn't come from my repository.
Pls. remember to put the MINIX U9 specific .dtb in your device tree directory so we do not have a repeat of this:
As soon as I make a patch for it.
kris.galle Your box has Rockchip SoC, you can't install LibreELEC on it.
The box periodically checks for an update, it is not instant.
8.2.1.2 available to download. Please once again note that automatic update won't update to 8.2.1.2 due to a bug in previous builds. In 8.2.1.2 the bug is fixed and this it will automatically update to future versions unless you turn the feature off.
8.2.1.2 build in OP available for download. If you're on 8.2.1.1, it should automatically update to 8.2.1.2.
