There is a Kodi patch that aims to improve libnfs performance a bit, I will include in a next build. Let's hope it will get performance a little bit closer to native mounts.

Odroids have a great support from a manufacturer and good (albeit not that big) community around it. It's a bit DIY platform but once you get it to work, it's a really nice device.

mrness The log is incomplete and you need to post a sample.

I found a much better WiFi + BT driver than the one supplied by Amlogic and it was already adapted to 3.14 kernel. I adapted the driver for Amlogic and it's working since 7.0.3.012c Since 7.0.3.012d BT Audio is working.

Do you use the official LibreELEC build for ODroid, or is one of your device trees geared towards the C2 as well (I only ask because I didn't see anything specific in the device tree)? My builds do not work on Odroid C2 because it needs a bit different kernel config and a special u-boot. Raybuntu's builds (32-bit userspace: thread-4248.html) and official LE builds work really well.
Do you have any opinion on whether any of the differences in the hardware are better/worse? For example do you suggest the 1GB vs 2GB boxes or the 8GB vs 16GB eMMC's or 100 Mbps versus Gigabit chipsets?I think for LE 1GB RAM is enough but it's good to have Gigabit Ethernet. If you get a decent SD card it doesn't matter what's the internal memory size, you are only limited by card size.

Yes. For example WeTek Hub has 802.11ac chip.

No support for analog out in my builds I'm afraid.

I think for Amlogic Jarvis is still a bit better in terms of video playback. Once a few glitches that are still present in Krypton are fixed, I will start recommending Krypton.

Hi Kszaq,I want to update my Bqeel S905X 2G/16Gb to 7.0.3.012h from "g" (LE installed on SD). The device tree looks the same (gxl_p212_2g.dtb 23-Jan-2017 20:21 37913). No changes there?
Device trees for all builds from 7.0.3.010 are the same. When switching between those builds you do not need to supply a service tree in update folder. -
KOPRajs What system are building on? You need to have x86_64 machine to build. And don't build as root.

Right. This is win. The amlogic box behaves exactly the same way. I'll give you an updated log (your build) when I'm back at home.If you get the same error with Windows, this is a Kodi bug that needs to be fixed in Kodi, not specifically in my releases.

Honestly I don't understand (well I understand the development cycle, but I'm not agree) why we don't have new stable releases from upstream like Kodi 16.2 or Libreelec 7.1 to fill the gap between new mayor versions. Last stable version from Kodi was from April 2016!My continuous updates are aimed at specific hardware and almost all changes in my releases all Amlogic-specific. There is no need for Kodi (or LE) to update 16/7.0 - it's stable and in good shape on other platforms.
Last stable version from Kodi was 2 days ago.

yomo86 DXVA? This is certainly not running on Amlogic.

Please do some basic search before you create a new thread. One thread below yours: thread-2877.html

Hi Kszaq,
How can I display AML-MBAUDIO S/PDIF as audio output and passthrough audio ouput?
Do I need a special DTB file other than gxbb_p201.dtb ?
Thanks
At this point it is only possible to have dual audio output, as you mentioned in your previous post. Device tree cannot change it.

Please temporarily set audio output configuration to fixed 44.1kHz or choose SPDIF as main audio output. I will try to fix it today evening. -
kszaq, any chance you'll let us know which box you run? I've asked a couple times and didn't get a reply. If you're intentionally not replying, I understand -- just wanted to double-check before I order boards for my family because I'd really prefer to buy whatever box you are running.
Thank you in advance!
My everyday device is WeTek Hub (gift from WeTek), I also have Odroid C2 (gift from Hardkernel) and T95x - the cheapest S905X device that was available at the time I was buying, but I don't like it for its weak WiFi. I used to have Beelink MiniMX but I broke down some time ago. I also have a few S805 devices - for testing only. -
@strormrev I don't understand your question and how is it related to my post.
