Ask at CoreELEC, it is in master (and Obrekr should have a build)
will do that thanks!

I might build that one too. Which version of LibreELEC are you using?
Can you build it for ODROID C2 CoreELEC?
Edit: Link removed
I use it on Odroid C2 with TVH client and Librespot. Everything works perfectly. My version of LE us wrxtasy's latest build.
wrxtasy builds using LE8 wich is fine indeed i know.
But with CE9 there is an issue.
It’s easy to reproduce install librespot addon and try to zapping to other channels with tvheadend client.
I use HifiBerry DAC+ with Librespot without issue. You will have to edit `/flash/config.txt` accordingly.
I paused development at librespot and LibreELEC for personal reasons, but expect to resume soonish. There is no current emergency though, since the Librespot addon is working as expected.
When I resume, I intend to merge librespot to the Snapserver addon (and drop the standalone Librespot addon) to provide a single more general solution. This also allows to use latest versions of librespot, which is rendered complicated by current Kodi hooks/patches.
I expect this rework to be quite comprehensive, ie build Rust from a package, build latest librespot with vendored dependencies, drop Librespot standalone addon, build latest Snapcast, add pulseaudio alsa plugins to snapclient, (try to) further simplify Kodi with Snapcast, Snapcast control from Kodi user interface, etc.
awiouy there is an issue whith librespot and tvheadend client.
If librespot is installed zapping with live tv is broken.
If switching channels it zappen into blackscreen and THE system freezes and pull out The power plug.
This issue is on odroid c2 on LE9 and CE9.
On my S912 the same issue running CE9.
If remove the librespot addon zapping live tv is working fine.
Is this a known issue?
If needed i can provide some logs
are there any alternatives except Raspberry, Odroid and x86?
i like the amlogic boxes, but i need hyperion.
Hyperion is running fine on newer kernels.
If amlogic is going mainline maybe there is a change the bug will be solved.
I recommend that you first run the test LE-KODI-18 from an external USB drive. If everything works correctly (all the functions you need will work), you can easily migrate this system to eMMC. Do you have any USB flash drive > 2GB?
Yes i have,
What steps i need to install on usb flash drive?
I have a emmc 32gb attached to my odroid c2. Is it possible to install your build on my emmc?
Hi is this working on odroid C2?
Maybe.
I'm getting good results now with an overclocked S912 GPU and new GPU drivers and tweaks that went into my S912 LE Krypton Subtitles fix release.
For example I can now playback 1080p 11Mbps 10bit H264 aka Hi10P Anime - that uses CPU software decoding. This is the same software decoding that AML Kodi Leia uses with the Netflix Addon. I've done further testing with other 1080p H264 CPU software decoded content and it plays back fine.
I now strongly suspect 1080p Netflix and 1080p Amazon Video - Kodi Leia - H264 streaming may work on a AML S912 when using software decoding.
Sorry to say but i just tested netflix 720p and 1080p on mecool m8s pro L with a Leia test devel build from boot2k3 with your patch/fix inlcuded with OC GPU 792 Mhz but unfortunately netflix 720p still sluggish.
Do you know what the right settings for better performance?
Thanks!
I've not tried it but I believe you can just drop the appropriate .dtb file in the Update folder as well as the LE .tar update then reboot.
that’s worked for me.
Very likely.
The Key is rendering the entire Kodi GUI viewport in one pass on the S912 by setting <algorithmdirtyregions>0</algorithmdirtyregions>
HOW-TO:Modify dirty regions - Official Kodi Wiki
SoC temps increase a wee bit, but I would rather have a smoother GUI and properly synced subtitles.
Than you!
Display MoreIn the following folder you should find a S912 Subtitles-ff.tar update that should fixup the Subtitles and GUI tearing when using slide animations as well (its uploading now):
Subtitles-GUI-tear-fix folder (click)
The Kodi GUI should be smoother now and will still retain it's new found snappiness.
I've been testing with the Aeon-Nox Silvio Skin.
Remember to go into Kodi Settings > System > Display > Community Extras > Set GPU clock to 792MHz
A reminder there are also new S912 device trees needed for GPU Overclocking - found in the above linked folder.
W.
This is great!
Thank you very much i'll test later when got home from work!
EDIT:
Just test it with Aeon Nox SILVO skin and set the GPU clock to 792MHz and no more tearing!
Silky smooth gui now it's amazing!
Thank you very much!
wrxtasy is it possible to apply this to GDPR-2 Leia testbuilds?
I'm not seeing any completely obvious GUI tearing at 1080p50Hz on the U9.
Q. Have you overclocked the S912 GPU and verified it's running at 792MHz ?EDIT: There may be a tiny bit if I look very closely at the bottom of the screen with some Kodi icons. It is no where near the really obvious tearing we had in early versions of LE for the S912.
Am I going to fix it - maybe.
I'm using skin Aeon nox Silvo this skin hals also a lot of slide animations if choose vertical on homescreen it's better.
And yes GPU is Overclocked at 792MHz
Thanks!
Can confirm that GUI is snappier and GUI overlay stutter is gone. Only minor downside is that there is some tearing in the GUI because of wrong vsync.
Yes tearing in the gui is very present in this build.
I installed this build on my mecool M8S PRO L.
wrxtasy is it maybe possible to get rid of tearing in gui?
Play Video - On Screen Display - Video Settings - play around with Deinterlace method.
Deinterlace method will only display when Software decoding.
thanks already did that on my rock64 but that option is greyed out.
Also there are no settings in player for HW acceleration. So i can’t turn of hw acceleration.
