Sorry but i have forget to mention that i tried to stop kodi with "systemctl stop kodi" just in case that it will overwrite settings.xml and then write the content to the file.After that i reboot the box and executed systemctl start kodi but the keys doesn't appear in the youtube gui settings. My box is amlogic s805 with LibreELEC-S805.m201d.arm-7.0.3.3d image. I have entered fake api keys anyway thanks for masking them

I am trying to set my api credentials for youtube via settings.xml . Here is the file content :

after sign out and sign in 2 times with web activation via http://youtube.com/activate credentials still doesn't appear in kodi's gui. I don't want to enter api credentials on hand as i have to this on several boxes. Please any suggestions on how to enter youtube api credentials via ssh .

I have amlogic s905 box and i am trying to boot from usb flash drive . The box doesn't have sd slot that's why i am trying the usb drive. I have burned Libreelec 7.0.3 on usb flash drive and gxbb_p201device tress as dtb.img after that i have tried to connect via serial cable to the box and run manually the boot from usb process please take a look at my log file and if you have idea what i am doing wrong please let me know

I have found that if i enable cec the box wakeup and it works ok. But still cant resolve the issue with how to increase the volume when i am on Radio section of Kodi.

I have Libreelec 7.0.3.2 on s805 and i can't wake up also after shutdown the box. I have seen this release from kszaq [7.0.3.3d] LibreELEC 7.0 for S805 but i am not sure if my board is V3_1 board how can i check this ? also another question here is my remote.txt i can increase the volume when i on the tv section but i can't do it when i am on radio section. Thank you

Hello everyone

Can you tell me if there is a way to upgrade from one version of Libreelec to another by storing the compressed img file into usb stick not by storing it on /storage/.update. ( maybe by modifying some script ?? ) . The idea is to store the img on usb stick reboot the box and after that install it to nand as it is when we store images on /storage/.update ( without wasting any space on the nand for the compressed file ).

Thanks everyone for your replies and help i appreciate it. Please let me know why Libreelec show that i have 343MB ram when hardwareinfo on android display 795mb here is image on my board , Do i need to change the devicetrees or something else ??

Hi 2re. Thanks for the repy. Here is the output after issuing "systemctl stop kodi" (the command didn't helped much ) :

and here you can find my hw that's why i suppose that libreelec reserves more then half of the ram at boot time. I have even tried to disable starting of kodi with systemctl disable kodi and rest of the kodi services but after reboot they have started again.

Hi escalade and thanks for the reply . I want to use it as vpn client and maybe run some web server on the box that's why i don't need kodi ( i won't use it as media player) . If i put sleep loop how could i use it at all ? i wont be able to ssh or do whatever ?

Hello everyone. I would like to know if there is a way to start libreelec without kodi gui only cli. I dont want to spend resources on kodi .. as kodi eats more then half of the ram.

Thank you for the reply kszaq. Is there a way to upgrade through cli (via ssh ) ? not through the gui .This way i would play with various Krypton versions ?

Hello chewitt thanks for the reply here and here you can see the box hw.. about the image i have burned LibreELEC-S805.arm-8.2-8.1.6-m201d.img but i have tried with several Libreelec 7 for m201d and noone has booted .

ps:the only way i have managed to install Libreelec (only v.7 zip ) is through the android recovery menu - Apply update from EXT

Hi i guess it's something wrong with the bootloader as Libreelec doesn;t even try to boot when i put flash drive in the usb port.

Please take a look at this log i have dumped maybe you can see something that may help to boot Libreelec . I have burnned Libreelec 8.2 but i guess it' would be the same with Libreelec 7

Please let me know how to create Libreelec zip file so that i could install it through recovery menu . To clarify my question here is image with Libreelec zip file and down there is the img file burnned shot — imgbb.com to flash drive. The way to install libreelec is through android recovery menu HERE i do this because i don't have sd card slot on my box.
