In the current version of the kernel S812 no support for the remote control.
Oh ok sad to hear that.

Don't shoot me down in flames, If you hold a phone camera in front of the remote. do you see a red light when you press a button?
Maybe someone of you can help me to fix my remote. I just used it to boot up the box since updating to Leia. ir-keytable -t doesnt show any key. I tried all protocols. This is what I get when type in ir-keytable:
Of course. I use it to power up the box.
No offense, but you guys are posting/asking/suggesting things I already mentioned in my post.

There are some ready made files LibreELEC 9.0.x Remote files - Remote Controllers - CoreELEC Forums
One of these might work, saving you the trouble of creating one yourself. My H96 Pro remote looks like yours
thanks but I already tried ALL of them, like I wrote in my previous post. None of them worked. Not even one key

doggyofone I don't want to be rude but why did you answer? Have you even read my post? If you would have read my post you would understand that this problem occurs during the process. It's evident that I am using the HowTo ...

Maybe someone of you can help me to fix my remote. I just used it to boot up the box since updating to Leia. ir-keytable -t doesnt show any key. I tried all protocols. This is what I get when type in ir-keytable:
Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event0) with:
Driver: rc-loopback, table: rc-empty
lirc device: /dev/lirc0
Supported protocols: lirc rc-5 rc-5-sz jvc sony nec sanyo mce_kbd rc-6
Enabled protocols: lirc rc-5 rc-5-sz jvc sony nec sanyo mce_kbd rc-6
Name: rc-core loopback device
bus: 6, vendor/product: 0000:0000, version: 0x0001
Repeat delay = 500 ms, repeat period = 125 ms
It seems to me like the system isn't loading the driver for the IR receiver.
I attached the dmesg output. Im on the newest build. It is driving me crazy the last couple of days. Everything except of that is working great.
For LibreElec 8.x I got my remote.conf from here Remote control configuration for Libreelec on Amlogic Socs | Micro Devices (exactly my remote). I also tried out some of the presets I found here for similar looking remotes but nothing worked for me.

is it possible to build a script so that we get an info about a new version? Like in the CoreElec builds.
-
I don't need to install it on a SD card. Even the newest build runs from my internal storage.

I'm sorry to hear that. Did you try to to create the file and disable the compatibility check? This message didn't appear during my upgrade process. But the S802 and the S812 are very similar so you could give this a try. Did you install the 8.2.3 from my link? There is a build for the MXIII Plus from Demetris. Maybe this could solve your problem.

Here are the steps:
1. Download drieschels build libreelec-s802.s82.arm-8.0.0-2-alpha-devel.zip
2. Unpack the files and put them in the root directory of your SD card / USB drive (don't burn them with an image tool !!!!)
3. Start the box in recovery mode (toothpick) with the inserted SD card / USB drive
4. Choose Wipe/factory reset, and then Update from EXT. Choose your SD card / USB drive and the zip file which is on it
5. LibreElec should be installed on your device now
6. Start the SAMBA service and put this build in the update folder (\\libreelec\update) and reboot Loading site please wait... (dont know if it is necessary to perform this update but I did so)
7. Now you're on LibreElec 8.2.3
8. Download the "LibreElec-S812.arm-18.0_20180601-LAN_100.tar" file and put it into your update folder and reboot Nothing found — Yandex.Disk
9. Now youre on LibreElec 9.0
10. Be happy

I got your Leia build working on an Orbsmart S82. It works like a charm, even Netflix and Amazon Prime work with 720p!
The only thing I couldn't get running is booting from SD / USB. When I was trying to install it, it only reached the LibreElec Splashscreen and then rebooted. To install it I installed Demetris Build first and then updated with the 100M tar file.
It's now installed on my internal storage. I'm just worried about updates, hopefully this won't crash the whole system.

Has anyone tried to upgrade from Demetris build?

udisk is a USB Disk Drive. Why don't you do it just like I discribed it? I did this with an USB stick.
Are Leia builds in progress?

I finally got it. I had to flash LibreELEC-S802.S82.arm-8.0.0-2-alpha-devel.zip , before the flash I had to wipe the data first (inside the recovery menu) after some failed starts it booted up and I was able to put the newest build into the LibreElec Update Folder.
Thats it

I've got a strange problem with my IR remote since I upgraded to the newest developer build - it stopped working. So I tried to switch back to 8.90.4 but it doesn't work anymore. I already tried out the newest dtb file, but it doesn't make any difference. I am not using a remote.conf. I thought that the Mecool Remotes were baked into the builds?
Edit:
Ok. I've got a "solution" for this problem: I downgraded to 8.90.3, then everything was fine again. It also continued working after the upgrade to 8.90.4
Strange...

Do you know when we will be able to use the analog audio output on LE9? Currently I'm using a HDMI Audio Extractor to get the signal

Hello,
The PVR addon "teleboy" got an update to 18.0.11
When will it be available in your build?
Many thanks
GDPR-2 I don't want to be annoying, but could you maybe create a developer build with this update?
Your builds btw work great on my Mecool M8S Pro+
