PPX3610 chipset search gives no results. This was made around 2013, so it's quite old as far as android hardware goes.

I think a fresh install is required for the LE 9.0 builds, but I'm not sure. Remember, they are in the "development" stage, so they may not be stable. I would try running LE 9.0 from a USB drive to see how it works before installing it.

My NUC won't always auto-update either. I place the .gz file into Libreelec's "update" folder via a Windows 10 networked computer. In Windows Explorer I enter \\192.168.1.xxx to access the NUC running Libreelec.

As I understand it, Libreelec is just Kodi built into a scaled down version of Linux. The core drivers included are part of Linux, not Kodi. I'm not sure who determines which drivers are added and removed. I'm interested in your testing of Ubuntu to see what the results are.

I run LE 8.2.4 and could not find "snaptream". The closest was snapclient and snapserver in Services. Even a google search failed to locate "snapstream".

The AMD Radeon HD 6480G is an integrated processor graphics card for entry level laptops. It was introduced in 2011 so it's quite old. I am not sure if it lost support with Libreelec.

I guess it depends on the make and model of your NAS device and how you access the shares.

Did you try it ?

You could try installing a much older version of LE or OE to see if that works
