The problem is the file extension (.ts). Kodi introduced a bug a few versions back which caused this problem. See these 2 threads:
Nexus doesn't seem to support DTS-HD Master Audio using the .m2ts file extension
ThreadNexus doesn't seem to support DTS-HD Master Audio using the .m2ts file extension
I have 2 Intel NUCs running LE 10.0.4 and they play all my .m2ts video files containing DTS-HD Master Audio correctly. Their Audio Streams are identified as: English - DTS-HD MA 5.1 (side) - 6 channels [default] (1/1). My AVR correctly identifies them as DTS-HD Master Audio
If I update to 10.95.0 (Nexus), the Audio Streams are identified as: English - DTS 0 channels - 0 channels (1/1). My AVR plays them as plain DTS - not DTS-HD Master Audio
Same problem running Kodi Nexus on a Windows 10…blueribbFebruary 1, 2023 at 9:40 PM Convert one of your files to .mkv using MKVToolNix and it should work normally
Kodi never corrected this problem

Update:
The HDMI Firmware update fixed the "no audio after suspend" issue I was having! It seems the NUC's EDID is now detecting my AVR, when it didn't before the update. The USB-C jack still doesn't function, but I don't care now since my problem is fixed.
Yay!

I used Rufus to create the bootable usb key fro a Win10 iso and didn’t need to install any drivers. It just booted to Windows and I ran the hdmi update. No need to install drivers all I wanted was to run that firmware exe.
Note the image option: ‘Windows to Go’ below
I used Rufus too and chose the "Window to Go" option on both installs. Today's install was with another USB Drive and another NUC port. It took hours to update Windows on the NUC.

I started all over today using another usb 3 stick and a different usb port. Installation went much smoother, although still quite slow. After a few hours of updating windows and drivers, I had to download 2 missing drivers (chipset & audio) and manually install those. I crossed my fingers and the HDMI Firmware update worked fine this time, although I think I was already using the updated firmware, but I wasn't 100% sure, so I ran it anyway. It only took a couple minutes and finished succcessfully.
Now to test if I have audio after suspend and I'll try the USB-C port again. (maybe another day - I'm tired!)
Thanks for everyone's help

Is your Ethernet cable connected?
Yes. Also, I ran the HDMI FW Program from a usb thumb drive plugged into the NUC.

The HDMI Firmware update failed
I spent hours with the portable version of Windows 10 on the NUC. It was painfully slow with lots of reboots and Microsoft one-time codes and spinning circles, etc. I ran the HDMI FW Update program in administrator's mode and when I pressed "Get FW Version", that box lit up bright green with "ISP failed - could not connect". Same happened when I pressed "Start". It actually asked me first - are you sure.... and I said yes, but it failed again and again.

Thanks Homerjau
How would I access the HDMI Firmware files once the Win 10 portable drive is installed and running on my NUC? Can I plug in another thumb drive with the files on it or move the files from my networked Win 10 desktop to a folder in Libreelec?

I was actually refering to an earlier post about no HD Audio pass-through, not your issue.
When you replied I was thinking you had the audio issue. Apologies.
For those needing the HDMI firmware fix on NUC8 its called:
NUC8ixBE-HDMI-FW-Update-Version 1.78.4.0.4 and has a Windows only exe method to push the firmware to the NUCs HDMI.
For my LE NUCs I created a bootable Windows 10 USB key and ran the firmware exe on that (it has a UI and won't run on DOS). After rebooting back to LE my Atmos/TrueHD passthrough now works perectly.
I have the zip I downloaded but no link on MS or Asus now Asus has take over NUC support.
I'm making a portable version of Windows 10 on a USB Drive right now, but I can't find NUC8ixBE-HDMI-FW-Update-Version 1.78.4.0.4
I was able to find 1.78.4.0.3 and it's dated Dec 2020. Any idea where I can download the latest version? Asus hosts the BIOS Updates but not the HDMI Firmware update.

I think it's worth to update the HDMI firmware. USB-C and HDMI probably use the same firmware for A/V.
I would if it didn't require loading Windows to update it.

I did not update the HDMI firmware. Isn't that for Windows use only? I have no issues with HD Audio. My issue was with resuming from suspend mode, which produced no audio unless the video refresh rate was toggled.
What version of HDMI firmware did you use and where did you download it from?

I updated the NUC's firmware a couple weeks ago. When I use the HDMI port, I get no audio after suspend. I was using a power script to toggle the video refresh rate but can't use the script with 11.0.6 Generic. Generic-Legacy produces way too dark of a picture for some reason.
I did manage to find a work-around. I'm using a powered HDMI splitter that I got on Amazon.

I know this thread is almost 4-years old, but I am having the same problem with my NUC8i5BEK. The USB-C port passes audio but no video at all. I am using a "uni USB C to HDMI Adapter 4K | High Speed HDMI to USB-C Adapter | Type C (Thunderbolt 3/4) HDMI Converter" that I bought from Amazon for $7.98
This adapter works perfectly with my wife's Macbook Air M1 Laptop. I don't know if it's a Linux driver issue or the adapter is not compatible with the NUC.

I am currently running 11.0.6 Generic on 2 different Intel NUCs. I would like to test the latest 12.0 nightly. Can I revert back to 11.0.6 without any issues after I am done testing?

I'm not sure how HDR or the lack of it affects really old Sony 1080p TV's (2009 & 2015).

I have been using the generic-legacy version for a while and noticed the black levels are much darker than the generic version. It's so dark, the detail is lost, and the overall picture is much darker. I switched to generic on both of my Intel NUCs and the black levels are back to normal. The problem now is that I can no longer run the script that toggles the refresh rate, turning my audio back on from SUSPEND.
Is there a video setting I can adjust that would correct the too dark symptom in generic-legacy?
