Try the PI1 image. If that doesn't work you might have a Pi2+ (see LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) ) in this case try a current Milhouse build.

I don't think the cron daemon was running, and I couldn't figure out how to make it run.LibreELEC Settings - LibreELEC the Wiki isn't there to be ignored.

The PI3s build-in WIFI module isn't one of the best, if you want to stream high bit rate content you'll be better of getting a good USB WIFI dongle.

Yesterday I was watching TV over the Pi (PVR Client Connection to my HTPC). Libreelec was showing me a little thermometer on the right top corner. If live TV is using the MPEG2 codec you can buy the MPEG2 license, this allows the PI3 to user the hardware decoder which lessens the strain on the CPU considerably.
You can also get a case like this: The Official Kodi Edition Raspberry Pi Case | Kodi | Open Source Home Theater Software which cools the CPU far better than a simple heatsink.

So the problem is not Hide.me, is not IPVanish, is not VPNManager addon. The problem is only LibreSSL on 32 bit operating system.Actually those providers are a big part of a problem. VPNs are meant to increase security, but certificates with a lifetime spanning decades are ridiculously stupid in a security context.
About OpenSSL, that is one big pile of a shitty mess and a gigantic bug-fest. Moving away from OpenSSL was one of the best decisions the LE developers have made, so far.

but be carefull the rpi3 is well known to suffer from hight temperature (>80°c) so you'll need some heat sink and for a kodi box an active one woth a small fan plugged on the GPIO port. Because when hot the rpi will throttle really really bad.No need for noisy active cooling. Just get this case: The Official Kodi Edition Raspberry Pi Case | Kodi | Open Source Home Theater Software it's nice and provides ample cooling, even when messing with HEVC (on hardware supported codecs the PI3 doesn't get hot).

i switched to libreelec Beta Version 17 Krypton.Note: Kodi 17 is in Beta, LE is still Alpha.
But after installing a PVR (VDR Plugin) the RPI2 just kept on restarting (aprox. every 5-10 min) .
It was not possible to remove the Addon - i always recieved the Popup that this is not possible.I reinstalled everything, again everything worked - i then installed a radio addon. Same weird restarts and deinstallation also not possible.
What exact plugins (versions) and where are they from would likely help.
Are more infos needed?Always start with a debug log: HOW TO:Provide Logfile - LibreELEC and please follow the instructions and upload the log to a pastebin site. Also if there are any crashlogs they might help the devs too.

As it is caused by sharing files with Libreelec and how libreelec handle it (maybe) :- I must no be the only one having this issue
- Still pretty relevent as one hand causing the "problem" is Libreelec
LE is just accessing files using a standard protocol.
If Windows 10 thinks it can't activate the screensaver while shared files are accessed it is a Windows fault and has nothing to do with LE. So you're complaining in the wrong place.
Btw. Samba is a server application providing SMB shares on Linux. If you are sharing the files on Windows you are not using Samba there but Windows. If you access these files from LE using the SMB protocol Samba still hasn't anything to do with this. Samba is only in play when you access SMB shares hosted on LE.

Thanks for the short explanation, got my upvote but in that case I am even more confused why Kodi does apply HSBS to MVC content...
HSBS and HOU would be a lot less quality than MVC - and yes, on 120" you will see a quite enormous differenceWell if you tag the filename as SBS Kodi treats it as SBS, if the filename is correctly tagged but Kodi still sends it as SBS it could be that you didn't enable frame packing in System -> Video-Hardware, or that your AVR(if HDMI goes through it)/Projector simply don't support it (or fail to report to Kodi that they do support it).
Also I seem to remember that frame packing isn't supported on all platforms/hardware, so again search the Kodi forums.

However, I thought that frame-packing is the transfer method over HDMI for all 3D relatet contents, including HSBS, HOU and MVC.In short:
No. Frame packing outputs at twice the frame rate of the actual video material, which allows it to deliver full resolution frames for left and right, but requires more storage space and HDMI bandwith.
Side by Side and Over Under runs at the same frame rate as the source material, and has the frames for left and right cramed into a single image. Halving the resolution of the actual frames for left and right, but requiring less storage space and HDMI bandwith.
