A lot of the information is in the Wiki: LibreELEC

fresh instal of libreelec 2 different downloads I can set it up and install fusion but when I go to ad my video location via smb I get invalid argument.Official:Forum rules/Banned add-ons - Official Kodi Wiki
I don't think you'll get support here.

1. I tried several SD cards
2. Samsung & Sandisk
3. I've created cards on both Windows and Mac
4. I don't think soI've mounted and checked all the RPI image files from the download page, and they all contained the complete overlays folder. So it must be something on your side.
Seeing your last edit: Have a look at this thread: LibreELEC

OK, the install method looks fine, but it's puzzling why you don't have the overlay file there. Some possible reasons:
1. A corrupted download, though this usually affects more than one file.
2. A bad/low quality SD card, though like the above it usually affects more than one file.
3. As the SD card is created on a windows machine it could also be an overzealous virus scanner that quarantined/deleted the overlay file.
Edit:
4. It could also be the opposite of number 3: malware messing with the SD card. -

The Hifiberry support team looked at my log file and they came back with the message:The overlay file is missing. You need to inform the developers that they need to fix this. Looks like the developers didn't really test the Raspberry Pi release well enough. I would recommend to stick with OpenElec until Librelec is really stable.
So hopefully the developers will fix this issue as soon as possible.
They are wrong, the overlay file is included. Make sure you edit the config.txt with an editor that supports linux line endings.

Try a different card reader/writer or a completely different PC for writing the image to the SD card. Also make sure the power supply for the PI is strong enough and provides a stable voltage.
The images are perfectly fine and work without an issue on PI2 and PI3.

Warning - Be aware what additional add-ons you install | Kodi | Open Source Home Theater SoftwareRemember it's a device on your local network, most likely with access to other devices on your network. So be very carefull about what you are running there. With piracy repositories you never know what additional "goodies" come with your addon or one of it's updates, even if it's a simple config editor.

Instead of putting the mysql database on devices that aren't meant for it, like routers or media players, I would suggest to buy a cheap RPi and turn it into a dedicated database server.

I added http://libreelec.tv/feed to the file, but that does not seem to be working, or are you joking Grimson? It works fine here, in LibreELEC and as a dynamic bookmark in Firefox.

Raspberry Pi • View topic - small littel colored square get a decent power supply.

None of the Raspberrys have a hardware decoder for h265, so there is no license you could buy. With a RPi3 and the current LE build you can watch some (low quality) h265 videos. If you really want to watch high quality h265 videos a Raspberry simply won't do.

If you check the embedded file location when running LE you will that LE does not publish an equivalent feed; because we don't have a feed...But you do: feed
