Personally I would re-encode them to mkv or mp4 but if that's not your thing, then I believe DVD's should work OOTB on LE irrelevant of regions but I have never tested. If no one can confirm. I have a couple of region 1 & 2 DVD's and a basic USB drive, so I can test tomorrow if required.

LE only uses python2 at the moment. Moved to Feature Requests

A quick "search" revealed This

005 means LE release 8.90.005 available Here
The crazycat drivers are loaded in the Addon "LibreELEC Module Drivers" -> DVB drivers
You should be able to test operation without Tvheadend but without internet it will be difficult.
If you have a phone with data, you could tether it to wifi and use that.
If.... it doesn't work. there is always Xbox One Digital TV Tuner from Amazon at around £9 -> 10

OK thanks - seems to be a conflict between Yatse and Kodi.
Not really anything LE can do about it - yet.
We're still alpha, so just wait a while
-
Have you looked in Settings --> System settings --> Display --> Resolution?
-
It would be nice to know if it's a Leia issue or something that has been around for a while, I.e 8.2.
This may, or may not be related: Yatse
-
I'm guessing there was no issue on 8.2
Hmm. There is nothing obvious in the logs.
Can you try again with a normal keyboard/mouse as I have a feeling that "yatse" might be causing the problem - at least it will eliminate one area.
I'd also try a different file with a shorter path name and without "special" characters - just in case.
-
Can you confirm the same issue occurs on LE 8.90.005.

Did you enable SSH on first boot?
If not - go to System --> LibreELEC and enable shh there.
Otherwise try to ping each machine to ensure they are "connected"

This add-on has been marked as broken in the repository: Add-on is broken due to website changes

Looks like the device is not recognized.
Code20:41:32.545 T:3946808176 ERROR: AddOnLog: Joystick Support: ScanEvents: failed to read joystick "GEN GAME" on /dev/input/js0 - 19 (No such device)
It also looks like you may be having power issues. Try using a powered hub and see if this improves things.
Otherwise it may just be a issue with the rk3328 build which is always a possibility with such a new build.
