Certainly seems to be an issue with the addon. Probably the addon needs to be changed to support the latest release.
1) Is there any reason you need this addon? LE has default SFTP support.
2) Is this a RPi Zero on RPI1?
3) Try removing all evidence of the addon in /storage/.kodi/addons and reboot.

I think both device are "physically" connected to use BCM18. I tried changing the code on the fanshim without success. It might be worth posting a question on the Pimoroni Forum as I'm sure it's in their interest to have the fanshim compatible with other devices (Hifiberry etc.)
I have no idea what would happen if you start to connect 2 GPIO pins together. Try at your own expense!
Your log files show you are running CoreELEC - best to ask them.
Ok - That's a good enough scenario to give it some credence. It might still be possible. I don't have duel displays so can't test any scenario.
Sounds like a graphics issue. Does this box have a graphics card - or on board? If so what.

I doubt this will be implemented. The main reason, is that Kodi is a media centre - and who has 2 TV's next to each other in their living room? Also, what would be the point is having the same display split over 2 screens? I can see there *might* be a use for expanding the display across 2 screens but the resolution would be atrocious and barely watchable.

I've never had a problem with unmount or shutdown with the addon running - there is nothing in the code to hinder that.
However, yes the fan will continue to run once the system has shutdown - (Also before LE has booted). Not too sure if the code can be reversed so that this doesn't happen but as this was their first attempt at writing an addon, I think we have to live with the results for the moment.

May or may not be related but Sickgear/Sickbeard (A TV searcher) has started showing an error:
No idea what Venom uses for it's TV DB but if like Sickgear then it's a global issue. No idea what is causing it, could be a glitch, or something else, but it's not related to LE.

Generally, after writing the image. Eject/unmount SD card then remount/re-insert the SD card.
After that you can do anything you like - under Linux you'll need "root" for certain files, under Windoze I have no idea.
1) /storage/recordings *should* be created on installation. If not this could be a bug in the RPi4 image.
2) Autoselect *cannot* be implemented - who knows what people name their folders. Especially in non English environs.
3) Other comments should be passed on via the TVH forum as "feature request" as LE have no control of this.
Generally most people - after a new installation - have the "pain" of tweaking the installation to their own setup.
I personally have mine as "PVR" rather than "recordings" but that is my preference.
After investigation: To use tvservice -d edid.dat the screen must be active. So if you use the same screen for ssh display, or the screen is off, then you will get "Nothing Written!"
