although for odroid-h2 they claim support to 32gb with the same chip.
J4105-ITX also says 8gb.
Mistake at odroid?
J4105-ITX is basically the same(to me), but for the size... 4 i/o ports too many on the left... god...
Are there any amd based good smaller than itx boards?
im looking at this one -> GB-BLCE-4105
But i dont know whats up with max. 8gb ram part (not that i plan on using more than that... currently)
Hello guys!
It's that time of the year (yet again) when i'm thinking of gifting myself a GPU upgrade to Raspberry Pi.
This looks okay, but I could spend a bit more, for possibly a newer/better Intel/Amd inside. Something around 140$, cant afford more, and if i could I would put something small together myself.
I still like the hdmi-CEC, i NEED BT, could do without wi-fi, but, you know...
Any suggestion?
Thank you very much.
P.S.: And yes, if I would buy ara X5 back then, i wouldnt be asking you... again...
Tronsmart ara x5 is cheap at the moment...
Any new interesting devices in this range?
"retroarch on libreelec" in google search gives you Gamestarter on first place.
i like this "full" build better though
does anyone succeed with the picodrive emulator for MEGADRIVE/SEGACD/MEGA/CD on RPI2/3?
Any rom/image file I test I just see the black screen. I use latest picodrive_libretro.
Bios in bios folder, then test it. Bcracers works fine with plus_gx for Sega CD, pico for 32x not so much... ill play around with it some more...

escalade, u did real great work. i'm install your build on my RPi3, its work perfectly. but i have one question - how calibrate screen in emulatestation. in kodi i find calibration and did it, but can't understand how make it in ES.sorry for my bad english, TY
When i had this problem, my "smart" tv automatically overscanned, so i calibrated it in Kodi, but then ES resolution was butched.
When i fixed the TV panning, Kodi and ES resolution were normal (i gues they always were...)
I think I may have found the problem with the RPi builds, please test the 20170104 build.
What was it?
You might not require it, but get it nontheless... Pi is for MORE.
I probably won't get anything with ARM again either, and for what i use it for it's fully used. BUT, what Intel box is a good (cheap) bargain for you? (casefree is a bonus)
THANK YOU for the builds (When i fix an intelBook, my cousin gets it with controllers and all)
It will occupy a bit more RAM but that probably won't affect emulator performance. It didn't use to at least, but I actually sold off my RPi so please test.
I gues this doesnt taint the admiration i have for the work u have done, but i liked YOU more with a Pi.
So... do you intend to have one still, or are you sort of abandoning it or hoping someone else would tag along?
anyways, anyone using a 8bitdo controller? I am in love with the SFC30 model but I need to be sure that it works in LibreELEC/retroarch...
I had some difficulties a while ago (but i did mess some things up, so i don't know if it was LE's fault)
In this build(rPi) everything works ok.
Firmware of both SFC30 controllers is 2.69. I set them up in kodi first, then retroarch, then ES. They work flawlessly in LE/retroarch.
I played 2player MK1 on saturday

yes, i believe it did work in retroarch out of the box. I dont know if everything. I had to map exit combination anyways, so i went through all of the buttons.
I have the latest LE8 "Extended", taken from here.
Gues i meddled with configs too much...
I did a fresh install, latest version. FC30 didnt work out of the box(Kodi), did the configuration and first it worked in system settings, but stopped working after... dont get it really...
But now i could map it in Retroarch, so im happy.
I think in previous versions when i did the Kodi configuration with USB gamepad generic, later on FC30 would work out of the box.
