I have a kplus android tv box running kodi 16.1

I have been trying to upgrade it to 17.3 but how?? All the videos I watched on u tube have Google play store or a browser!! I don't have anything like that.

if you only have kodi on the box and it loads straight into kodi then your box isn't android, non of the videos using the android app will help.

Do you have other apps as well as kodi ?

does it load straight into kodi, do you see openelec or libreelec on boot up ?

if you see either openelec or libreelec on load up then you want this,,,

[8.1.6] LibreELEC 8.2 for S905/S905X

read it very, very carefully, try it from sd card first before you put it to internal memory.

You should clear all the user data before you upgrade.

boot in sd card to make sure its ok, then you can installtointernal,

I found that best method for those, update by tar and other methods didn't work as well for me.
