UPnP server problems

    Hi experts,

    RasPI 3, LibreELEC 8.0.2, KODI 17.3. External 3TB USB harddrive, ExFAT formatted, contains folders and videos., named "FILME".

    I want to stream movies from the RasPI to my iPad via DLNA.

    I go to Setting -> Services -> UpNP/DLNA and check it to on.

    Result: RasPI does not show up in VLC on iPad.

    Reboot RasPI.

    Result: RasPI shows up in VLC on iPad.

    I navigate down and see the external USB harddrive "FILME".

    ==> Strangely, the drive seems to be empty via DLNA. No movies, no subfolders.

    Any Ideas?

    Moreover, after a couple of minutes, the RasPI no longer shows up via DLNA until I reboot it.


    Switching on SMB in the RasPI works as expected and I can access the files on the external disk and play movies.

    UPnP sharing only works for videos (movies/tvshows) and music that are scraped into Kodi's video and music libraries.
