Kodi 17 estuary skin clips icons

Hi,

Just updated my LibreElec to 8.0.2(from 7.x.x-something) on my chromebox and the icons on the home screen in Kodi looks really ugly.
The icons are too large for the screen and gets clipped. It looks somtehing like this: 61sAE9MESolckn0au9gU6UWvYpq9_V3PJ0zvYvpbwTgaf1aHhOs2esEJiQEcCPqbD8P1igIPzrxKQY9nz_R2xan6GRn7ftvxnb76BV7daWzRSI-K1ABsnn_LbzKNMbpcEc7GIfU2

Is that something I have to fix manually? When looking at other screenshots I get the feeling this is not how it is supposed to look.
They got smaller category-icons and the media poster icons fits the screen nicely and there's a little arrow to right for scrolling. (Estuary-001.jpg?itok=S3jD0sbs)

I have tried adjusting the overscan settings in kodi and on my tv but that doesn't seem to be the problem.

Also the zoom is set to 0% and the display resolution option in kodi is matching the tv's.

Overscan is not the problem here. Also, you are comparing the Estuary v2 skin to the initial Estuary v1 skin. The 'look' in Estuary v2 is as intended.

If you prefer the v1 version, you can download theEstuaryMOD skin, which is still based on the v1 version (which is now already discontinued for Kodi 17 I see )

Oh ok. So the large clipped icons is a design choice?

It's a bit like the way Google displays things. It's a way of saying there are more icons to find next to them.

Not really my cup of tea.

Navigate left on the items that are clipped and once you get to the left-most icon everything lines up again.

It's your fault for not leaving your home screen tidy
