Unable to connect to remote server.

    All of the sudden I cannot update any of my libraries. I get the "Couldn't download information. Unable to connect to remote server. Would you like to continue scanning?" error. I've tried several different scraper sources, none will work for me. I know I'm connected to the internet because I'm still able to download new add-ons and whatnot. Not sure what would have changed?

    Running 8.0.1 currently, I had upgraded to 8.0.2 but when I discovered the problem I rolled back to 8.0.1 to see if that was the issue (it wasn't).

    Also not using any proxy.

    I'm only guessing that when no temp files can be created, it will also not be possible to unzip scraper info.

    Well tried doing a fresh install for the hell of it and the issue is resolved. Pretty annoying it seems like every couple months some new deal breaking issue arises and I have to spend hours/days getting it back to normal...oh well, thanks for the help Klojum
