Low FPS on HTPC

  • I've got a HTPC from a couple of years ago. Always had it run Kodi (OpenElec and later LibreElec), but with the latest build the FPS's in some of the menu's dropped below the 30FPS and sometimes the get as low als +- 10 FPS when scrolling trough the menus. The CPU doesn't seem the problem, when looking at the numbers. Maybe if got insufficient RAM memory? The database is on an external NAS (Synology with MariaDB).

The log is on pastebin: kodi log - Pastebin.com

The specs of my HTPC are:

    • Intel G620
    • 2x Kingston 2GB 1066MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL7 DIMM
    • Asus EAH6450 SILENT/DI/512MD3(LP)
    • Asrock H61M/U3S3
    • Be-Quiet SFX Power 300W
    • OCZ Vertex Turbo 30GB

    Kind regards!

    • Intel G620
      Shouldn't be a problem
    • 2x Kingston 2GB 1066MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL7 DIMM
4GB is more than enough. LE runs on 256MB RPi's
    • Asus EAH6450 SILENT/DI/512MD3(LP)
Take this one out and try running LE via the Intel's internal GPU. If it works, the box will run cheaper too, less electricity needed.
