The error "Network Error. Did not receive a reply" appears to be an issue with LibreElec because it does not happen in OSMC install on either raspberry pi2 or raspberry pi3.

It's just a generic error message. Most of the time the wifi works just fine despite the error.

I have this problem with my raspberry 2 (i'm using it with a wifi usb dongle) while it works ok with OSMC or Openelec. -
Hi, same problem here. I run Kodi with LibreELEC 8.2.1 on a Pi2.
Today I changed my WiFi passphrase, so I deleted the old (working) connection and tried to set up the new one.
I'm getting the error message and it does not connect. I tried several times without success.

What if you set up the old passphrase back on your wifi network? Any weird characters used in the new passphrase?
