Edit SD-Card in Windows or Linux

  • Hello,
I use Libreelec on Raspberry 2 and would like to edit the advancedsettings.xml. Problem is, in Windows 7 I only see the first partition of the sd-card. In Linux, I see both partitions, but cannot edit ether. They are read-only sonehow. In Windows 7, I can edit the first partition. I don't know much about Linux, I only use Lubuntu on a USB-stick.

How can I edit the advancedsettings.xml?

    Thank you

  • If LE and Windows are on the same network. When LE is running. Go to the run command on your windows machine and type '\\LE ip address' with out the quotes. You put in your IP address of the LE machine. Then click ok and it should open the samba share where you can access the file.

    Worked great! Thank you!
