I'm running a triple boot configuration from RetroPie 3.6, OpenELEC 6.0.3 & Raspbian “Jessie” – Triple-Boot | Multi Boot Pi which is built on Openelec. Is there a way to transition that OS portion to LibreElec? Unfortunately, it looks like I'm late to the party and both the multibootpi and openelec projects were already dead by the time I got my Pi3.

You could download the .tar file and unzip the 4 necessary files from the tar's target folder, and copy them manually over the OE's 4 files directly in its system partition. Also, you could rename/delete the current .kodi folder afterwards, if you want a clean LibreELEC setup.
Other than that, we have no direct experience with any multibootpi.

Thank you for the feedback. I put the entire "Manual Update from OpenELEC (.tar)" into the Update folder via the Samba share. This was suggested on another thread I found and it worked perfectly!
