when I ask Kodi to switch on the TV ( by sending CECActivateSource() via Yatse ), it keeps sending this command to the TV for a long time. As a result, it is impossible to switch off the TV because Kodi switches it on again a few seconds later.
The issue is sometimes resolved by starting a movie playback, but not always. One time I even had such a permanent power on after the reboot of LibreElec.
The hardware is a PI2. The TV is a Sony Bravia KDL-46NX700.
The LibreElec version is the just released 8.0.0
Please see attached for the relevant debug log. After activating the logging, I switched off the TV (using the TV remote). Then I sent the CECActivateSource() command. After that I switched off the TV several times (using the TV remote) and each time it came back to live after a few seconds.
