Sound through DAC+ (RPi) with screen off

  • Hi,

I hope this is not covered already, I've been googling for a while without finding a solution.

I have a raspberry pi 3 with a HiFi Berry DAC+ pro setup. I use BubbleUPnP to play music (some located on an SSD hooked up to the pi, some from my phone).

The issue is, when I'm only using the music playback, I don't need (want) the TV to be on. But if I turn it off, the music stops. I didn't have this issue with openELEC (I switched to libreELEC today), but I'm not sure what should be different?

I enabled the DAC in the config.txt, and I'm using DAC for playback (selected), just as I did when using openELEC. I hope you guys might have a solution (perhaps just something stupid that I missed?).

    Cheers,

  • Have a look in System -> Input -> Peripherals -> CEC Adapter and see what "When the TV is switched off" is set to. You probably want "Ignore".
