Raspberry Pi 3 3.5mm Audio Jack hissing.

Hi guys. I hocked up my headphones via the 3.5mm jack plug. The audio quality is really bad and there is really bad hissing in the background even the hissing is there with no audio playing. Would anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

If you have a digital AVR or other amplifier you can plug your headphones into, that should solve most of the problem.

So you mean plug the Pi into a amp then the headphones into the amp headphone port?
