When playing back a 3D file the subtitles are forced onto the screen. Setting Subtitles to Disabled has no effect.
I was able to get round the problem by downloading a new subtitle file, opening it up and deleting the text out of it, but this is a workaround rather than a fix.

I'm using libreelec, is there a version of that based on kodi 18?
Click on the link, they're LibreELEC test builds with Kodi 18a1. You can upgrade by dropping the tar file into the samba Upgrade folder, and you can downgrade back to 7.90.010 using the same method.
OK I'll give it a go. Media center is in use all day now but I'll have a go tmrw and feedback.
Yup, same problem with v18. Press T, it says Subtitles disabled, subtitles are still shown.
