USB DVB/S2 Recommendations for SBC/Tvheadend server

Does anybody have any recommendations for DVB-S2 dongles that work well with TVheadend media?

I want to make a server using an SBC and a USB dongle due to space/power. Devices with Gigabit would be preferred.

Ive had problems previously using a raspberry pi (V1/B) and Geniatech HDStar DVBS2 (V3) dongle ,and I'd appreciate suggestions of what works well. I have a Banana Pi ( Banana Pi – armbian ) running Debian 8, but TVheadend doesnt seem to work with the dongle on that either.

your hdstar should work fine on the pi if you use CvH latest version he did a few days ago which has crazycats latest driver updates.

Hey, cheers. Do you use it as a Tvheadend server? Do you have a link the the OS image you're referring to? I'm rather new to the whole thing, im sorry.
