Cant get LibreELEC Repo to work

Hello there,

I am new to LibreELEC and want to add the Repo from LibreELEC (libreelec.tv)to my little Raspberry but somehow i dont get it to work.
I tried to make a Zip out of that side or add it with the File Manager as a new source but what ever i did nothing worked.

Dont know if i am the only dumb guy who cant get this to work but i hope u can explain it to me

There is no specific repo to add in general. The LibreELEC and Kodi Add-on repo is already included.

Do you miss a specific addon?

Or are you asking for installing instruction in general? If yes, our wiki is a good place to start: Installing LibreELEC on the RPi - LibreELEC

Yes i got both Repo u mention but there is not the same stuff like on the one url i wrote.

My maingoal is to get the tslib or touchscreen service add-on for my touchscreen but never the less i would be very happy to know how to add a repo to LibreELEC.

I read the Wiki u told me to but there is not explained how to add a new Repo to LibreELEC.

Repositories are add-ons that are installed from a zip file like any other Kodi add-on. Most people who publish a repo for public consumption will also provide a zip to install the repo. NB: @vpeter's add-on was cleaned-up a little and is now in our main add-on repo as "Touchscreen" .. so no need to install a repo.

I was looking for tslib maybe thats why i didnt find anything...

Hey there,

now at home i got a look at the LibreELEC Repo but still cant find what iam looking for

when i look on pc ( GitHub - LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv: Just enough OS for KODI ) i see the add-ons iam looking for but on my Raspberry i dont get the same add-ons somehow.

was looking for an LibreELEC update but iam on 7.02 and i using the preinstalled LibreELEC Add-on repo.

I have a NOOBS installation if that matters.

Dont know how i can get the same stuff like on the Github page i mentioned.

Oh well than its really not on that repo I got installed because thats the one from ur URL.

So how is it than possible to get the one I mention to my LibreELEC Repo list?

You are looking at the LibreELEC source code repo.

The url you linked is for "master" which is currently LibreELEC 8.0 (7.90.010)

The url I linked is for "libreelec-7.0" which is LibreELEC 7.0 (7.0.2)

Maybe just explain exactly which add-on you are looking for....

I want to get touchscreen add-on from vpeter (tslib before).
Do i first habe to update LibreELEC for that add-on?

I got it to work
I just updated LibreELEC to 7.90.010 to get the other Repo and than everything worked fine.
