I have a router going to a switch and think the switch may be going bad, hopefully someone here can help confirm.
My file server is plugged into the router as well as my main pc. Streaming between the two works perfect. My LibreELEC HTPC is plugged into the switch and can't seem to play any video from the fileserver. I can update library and that all works fine, finding newly added video. This is a fresh install I'm trying out because I was having the same problem with OpenELEC.
There's a few users in the house on the network so I haven't had a chance to rearrange the network to troubleshoot. Everything else on the network seems to be working fine.
I guess my question really is just, "Can a switch go bad and still work, but not good enough to stream video? Or could it be a problem with the hardware?"
