Can I rebuild a library of old and new recordings?

  • Hope this is simple, though I've searched for hours without finding the answer.

So... I have been running LibreElec on a RPi for years, and have a modest collection of recordings, which I can watch streamed from the server to any Kodi device.

Recently the server SD card crashed, and I had to rebuild LibreElec on a new SD card. Fortunately my recordings were on a separate NAS drive attached to the server, so I can attach that and watch them locally as a media library, but as far as I can tell TVHeadend will only stream my recordings, not the media library, and the old movies don't show, even though they're in the same recordings folder.

I had hoped to find a simple rescan tool to rebuild the recordings list, which would integrate old and new, but I've failed to find it.

Any pointers on how to fix this would be very welcome.

  • See these threads from the Tvheadend forum - the correct term to search on there seems to be "importing" recordings:
