Supported video cards

Hello.

It seems that my GT620 video card is no longer supported. The restart after the update crashes. Is there a list of supported cards?

LE12.2 ships with the 575 series driver, which means Geforce series 700 up to RTX series 40 (RTX 50 series isn't supported as it would need a different kernel driver).

LE13 ships the 580 series driver, which supports about the same cards:

Kodi doesn't support nvdec so video decoding support on LE13 is quite limited.

In general I'd recommend staying away from nvidia, you'll get a better experience with Intel/AMD (even on-board) - or use something like the Raspberry Pi 5.

NB: While LE13 is using the 580.xx driver we'll need to bump to the latest driver to gain coverage of newer nVidia cards at some point, and the next-latest 595.xx series drops support for everything before RTX cards. Intel/AMD avoid the whole 'sliding window of support coverage' we see with nVidia cards.
