[RPi2/3] Analog Audio not working

    It's a rare use case for me, so I don't know exactly with which version this issue started. In addition, I skipped some LE versions because of the missing possibility of remote control (VNC or similar) since LE 10.

    I can't get the 3,5mm audio jack running, I tried all output options, none of them was working. I know it was working with previous version, probably with LE 9.2.x. I'm currently on LE 12.2.1.

    Is there any trick to get this running or is this a known issue? The hardware is a RPi 3B+.

    Everything requires CPU cycles to exist and only a handful of RPi users require analogue audio so it defaults off. For much the same reason, why go through all the development effort to make overlay application a GUI task when few will ever use it.
