In the LibreELEC-Settings (v12.2.0 on RPi5 on SSD (NVMe)) I saw that a EEPROM update was available and I checked the option to do a update after reboot.
Then I disconnected the power of my RPi5 and re-powered it again, but then I did not saw any information on my TV about update progress or anything.
After 2min I tried again to reboot but nothing happened (no info on the screen).
Then I did what I did for the initial setup of LibreELEC:
- connect a MicroSD to the PC
- Select in the Raspberry Pi Imager ► OS ► Misc utility images ► Bootlader (Pi 5 family) ► NVMe/USB Boot
- I inserted the MicroSD to the RPi5 and connected the power
- wait until the LED is blinking green
- reboot
After that procedere everything works again.
So the question is if this is a issue/bug in LibreELEC that for RPi5 and NVMe the EEPROM update directly in the LibreELEC-settings did not work as intended?
