Widevine installation stucked / stalled during extraction part of installation

I just updated to version LibreELEC 12.2 for pi5 (LibreELEC-RPi5.aarch64-12.2.0.img.gz) and also first removed the Widevine CDM folder (that has the older version of widevine 32bit version) before updating to 12.2

However when LibreELEC prompts to install widewine after opening netflix addon,
it gets stuck/stalled (approx near the end of extraction progress bar) while extracting from chromeOS image that was downloaded

I don't think it is storage issue because it still has 16.7GB free on the microSD card..

What is the cause and how to fix this?

I have tested it twice and same issue

This is a bug in the widevine.helper add-on which has been fixed upstream, but might not be publised in an add-on update? - You'd need to check their release notes. I've seen the same a week ago when prompted to update. It won't ever complete, but unpacking has already been done so either restart Kodi or reboot the box over SSH and all should be fine.
