CEC issues

    I've been using Openelec and libreElec with my two tvs with CEC for years.

    Edited to say I have libreElec running on a Cubox-tv

    However I tried to get it setup on an older Sony LED today and have encountered a problem where:

    1. I get the pulse eight connected to tv message displayed on boot
    2. Kodi shows up in the HDMI devices list on the tv
    3. Although the light is flashing on the front of the tv each time I push a button on the remote, no commands seem to be being passed through to kodi/libreElec.

    Note that after reading the other thread about CEC issues in 09 I also tried rolling back to 08 and have the same symptoms.

    Can anyone suggest what I can try to get this working?

    It looks like CEC got fixed. It seems this release is gonna be the first time I'll use this Cubox-i without an issue.

    You can try image with 3.14 kernel because there is different implementation.

    And what happen if you scan for devices on TV? Does it detect cuboxi/kodi?

    Thanks I will give that a go now.

    There's no scan option, but Kodi does show up in the list of connected devices.

    I also just tried to HDMI cable from the main (working) lounge room setup and that didn't help so hopefully there will be more luck with the provided image. Will report back shortly.
