Trying to share internet from wlan to eth0

  • Hello,

    I am really needing your help/advice.
    Trying to share internet coming from wireless device wlan to ethernet device eth0 (my TV).

    I know I have to edit main.conf to do this but the file system is read-only.

    Tried to install mksquashfs but no luck.

    Can someone please help me on this?
    How can I make the system prefer wlan0 - it's always changing my routing table when I online eth0 interface and internet stops.

  • Hi anex,

    could you please post the required configurations to share the internet from wifi to ethernet? I am also looking for a solution to this.

    Can you set static ip addresses for the devices connected via ethernet?

    Thanks in advance!

  • copy the original

    1. cp /etc/connman/main.conf /storage/.config/connman_main.conf

    then edit it there

    see, at master · LibreELEC/ · GitHub

    You have to do this and edit the file like this:

    TetheringTechnologies = ethernet

    then reboot
    and see if a new network interface had come up
    ifconfig -a

    tether Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr DA:66:BF:DC:0D:CB
    inet addr: Bcast: Mask:
    inet6 addr: fe80::98d5:72ff:fe3f:428c%139725136/64 Scope:Link
