No character set in installation procedure for LibreELEC 12.01 and Raspi 5

I have imaged a SD Card with LibreELEC 12.01 for Raspi 5. The Raspi 5 starts the installation process of LibreELEC. It boots and shows the Logo two times when preparing the partitions and then, when regulary the first setup screen should appear, no characters are shown but some background of the frames and boxes. Mouse and Keyboard are active. It looks as if the character set is missing.

Ich checked the imaging process also with LibreELEC 11 and different imagers. Same beheaviour as before.

When I install Raspi OS and Kodi on top all works fine. So I do not expect a hardware problem.

Has anybody an idea what happened?

Sorry, found the answer in the forum meanwhile. It was a design change which was not included in version 12.01. I will wait for the next stable release or meanwhile install the "nightly" version: [RPi5 2GB] Scrambled Display on Sony Bravia X90L

LE12 or LE13 nightlies resolve the issue - both are stable for regular use.
