November 14, 2024 at 3:08 PM #1 Hello, after a long time I would like to upgrade my Rasperry Pi3 to a new one. Now I have seen that the RPi5 is available with 4GB or 8GB ram.Can someone tell me if 4GB ram is enough for a normal application, e.g. watching movies (mkv x264 / x265).

I have a couple of Pi4 2GB that runs x265 4k hdr without any problems.
