    Hi everyone, I'm new here, and I’m not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask for help – but I’ll give it a go. :)

    I have an MXQ Pro+ 4K box that’s been running LibreELEC (LE) version 8 successfully for a few years, specifically:

    Code
    Distro: LibreELEC (community)
Version: 8.0.2b-t1
Architecture: s905.arm

    Recently, I wanted to upgrade to a newer version, perhaps version 11. That’s where the issues started to appear:

    1. Updating through storage
      I tried placing the update files in /storage/.update, but after restarting, I receive the following error message:

      *** Error in check_update: mount_common: Could not mount /storage.update/SYSTEM***
sh can't access tty; job control turned off
    2. Fresh SD card installation
      I read that the kernel might have changed, so a fresh installation could be needed. However, I can’t seem to boot from an SD card. I wrote the image to the card, but when I insert it into the device, it simply doesn’t boot.

    Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
