How to change Orientation/Rotation

    Dear community,


    I'm trying to find a way to increment a auto-rotate feature.

    It just so happens that i have a vertical screen and for it to correctly display a horizontal imagem i have to manually rotate the image prior sending it to my computer running besides the TV.


    Most of the times, its a short video clip running and for that matter (and also to speed things up a bit) I've created a script using ffmpeg that auto rotates the movie by 90º counterclockwise.


    But hey, rapaz, you can manually rotate the video using your keyboard inside Kodi it self. True, but it only stays that way until i run another video or restart the system.


    So, in other words what I'm searching for is a way to change my system config in order to always have a (horizontal) movie clip or image vertically rotated by the system it self (Kodi) without having me to always rotate each one of them before sending it to the machine.


    Is it possible?

    RE: Video Orientation

    If you disable "Allow using DRM PRIME decoder" in settings/player/video then the orientation flag is supported.

    But performance will be lower.

    I think on the nightly builds, you can leave that setting enabled but change "PRIME Render method" to EGL,

    which will have better performance (but still not as good as using DRM for rendering).
