My report is very similar to Soder10's situation. On RPi4 long SMB shared folders problem arose after 12.0.1 update.

Ok, my bad! I just have realized it was just a DNS issue, as D4rk-M4tt3r suggested. Sorry. Network config changed in paralell with the 12.0.1 update...
