Keyboard to work the same as TV remote

Hi,

I have just recently changed the remote control for my Kodi box to the Rii Mini i25 and it works well.

The only problem I have is the keyboard is not working the same as the old remote control number/keypad.

So, on the old remote it has a keypad the same as a phone, pressing the number "2" button selects A, B or C. This is very handy when looking through the Movies and TV library. So when I'm in Movies and I press the button "2" twice for "B" it then selects the first movie beginning with "B", if you get my drift

Is there any way to get the keyboard to work in the same way, so when I press "B" it picks out the first movie beginning with "B"?
