[RPi5] PMW Noctua Fan (LE 12.0.1)

    Hello iv got just installed kodi not long ago on my raspberry pi 5 , first time user so i dont know alot

    i was hoping you can help me do a few things

    1 installed a PMW noctua fan and hoping to customize the fan profile

    https://github.com/krdh/libreelec-RPi-pwm-fan is the only info i got on such things

    2 when turning off kodi was hoping to stop the 1.5 watts use when its "idle" ? i think i read some where

    3 over clock to 3 GHz on the pi because i have a big beefy cooler

    Yes, the above link should work for RPi5, too. Eventually you have to use this add-on, instead of the standard version:

    HarryH is right. This is not the fault of the Raspberry Pi Tools add-on.
    In my case (regular RPi4) the OLEDproc add-on works quite smoothly with the upgraded Raspberry Pi Tools add-on (where rpi-lgpio emulates RPi.GPIO). This is (OLEDproc add-on) the original version of 104 from 2022 unchanged.
    But I have upgraded all dependencies.
    However, the log presented does not look like a dependency problem. Restarting the RPi helped me with similar problems. Just to be sure, I'm attaching the…

    I am trying to have a fan control script working at startup. I have a Pi 4 with Libreelec 12.0.1 freshly installed with RPi tools addon. Fan is controlled by PWM on PIN 18.

    The control script runs well when I use the command: python /storage/fan_control.py
