like i said in the title im facing problems with overlays. im using a tv box with allwinner h3 running opi pc plus image installed to the emmc. the overlay im trying to use is sun8i-h3-spdif.dtbo. i also intend to use the sun8i-h3-tve.dtbo overlay for cvbs out. what happens is when try to boot it shows the initialising procces and just straight up hangs by the line /run init. tried rebooting didnt help. so what i did was use an sd card booted with le and change the extlinux.conf file with stock one. any help is appreciated

FYI, i have also tried to do the same with the build on the sd card that i had previously used for recovery purposes. and i got the same output

update, i found the problem i used FDTOVERLAY instead of FDTOVERLAYS, spdif out does show up but theres no audio through the spdif optical port

Please run "amixer contents | paste" and share the URL - I suspect one of the controls needs switching.

i used the same with an allwinner android image and it works fine so can i like copy paste things from that image
