The "amlogic" branch has current changes. You don't need to report on updates if things work the same as before.

Hi.
I have a problem with this amlogic images not booting in my box.
I'm using legacy 9.2 LTS version from this post Legacy v9.2 (LTS) builds for Amlogic S805/S8X2, S905/S912 and all WeTek boxes in a (maybe fake) nexbox a95x 1gb ram with S905X SOC
It works more or less stable, but i would like to update kodi to last version so i'm trying to burn a SD card with the last image from this post.
The fact is that i'm unable to make it boot. I've edited the uEnv.ini file and choosen all the dtb files that i thought were designed for this board acording to the instructions from this link https://wiki.libreelec.tv/hardware/amlogic but none of them seems to boot, all of them make the box boot from internal memory.
I´'ve attached the dtb.bin file i use with 9.2 LTS version witch works, maybe it could help to identify witch dtb should i choose for LE13 to make it work in this box.
Thanks a lot.
PS: i didn't move the dtb from /amlogic folder just edited the uEnv.ini file reeplazing @@DTB_NAME@@ with the different .dtb names.extension

I'd guess that you haven't redone the 'toothpick' or whatever method that was originally used to trigger boot from SD card, so the box is still looking for legacy boot files, doesn't find them, and falls back to the OS on internal storage. The dtb file does not control how the device boots.

umm i think the box didn't have a button for that, i used an apk to make it boot from sd.
So correctme if i'm wrong. I should:
- burn a new image and edit the uEnv.ini with one of the s95x dtb
- boot into internal.
- Use the apk in android to make the box boot from the sd card again using the new boot method.
I will try to find the apk again, i don't remember where did i get it .
Thanks.
