Kodi webserver

    Rpi4B running Kodi (21.0-BETA3 (20.90.830) Git:21.0b3-Omega). [Same behaviour on earlier builds]

    Web server is enabled, as per Wiki. When Kodi starts, it is listening on port 8080, as per configuration in guisettings.xml.

    So far, so good.

    After switching user profiles, the web server is no longer running.

    Is this the expected behaviour?

    All user profiles have the same web server settings in guisettings.xml.

    Update.

    This issue is skin related. The Estuary skin restarts the web server. Other skins do not.

    I would like to close this thread, sorry.

    While invetigating, I had inadvertently messed up the webserver settings in guisettings.xml, so it did not run :-{
