Is there anything I can do for my Radxa Zero 2GB 16GB eMMC to improve the video playback? I tried a couple x265 videos and all I got was audio playback on the video, I could see the progress bar, but no video playback at all. I also tried an x264 video and it had a bunch of strange lines through it. Is this a known issue or maybe hardware is bad?
poor video playback on fresh install of AMLGX.arm-11.0.6 on Radxa Zero 2GB

Update to https://chewitt.libreelec.tv/testing/LibreE…h64-11.80.0.tar and enable debug logging.. repeat the test and if the issue persists, run "pastekodi" and share the log URL generated.
I assume you've read the comments about status of things on G12A/B hardware in the LE 11.x release notes?

Awesome thanks, will do!

Please see log at https://paste.libreelec.tv/driven-bass.log
After enabling the debug logging, and while playing the video file, it looked like the 4 CPU cores were maxed. The Radxa Zero is powered by 5V 3.6A power supply.

HEVC is software decoded on G12A/B and SM1 and there's no 10-bit decoding path. If you play 1080p 8-bit media it should work.
H264 should play, but the 'VDEC' driver was written for GXBB/GXL/GXM boards and is technically the wrong driver so you might see artefacts at playback start, but things should sort themselves out normally (depends on what the problem is though). G12A should be using the (confusingly named) 'HEVC' driver which doesn't currently exist.
There's more info on current status in release notes on the main website.
