RPi4 2G. Marantz SR5500 receiver. Justboom Digi HAT. LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20231207-8475be3 but error has been around for several months.
AC3 optical passthrough transcoding plays intermittently on first play only. It plays for 1 second, stops for 1 second and plays again until the clip ends. Only the front channels are heard.
This has been ongoing for a few years. It was fixed then it broke again. Its not a huge problem because it resolves itself after the first play.
I need to reboot the RPi each time to replicate the error.
Ive posted about this some time ago (a year or so) . It was resolved but has recurred several months ago. I use an AAC5.1 encoded video from Dolby for testing.
Passthrough is enabled. Receiver is D.D. AC3 compatible. AC3 transcoding is enabled.
