A bit of a lurker here, but inspired by the work on this thread, and using the Moonlight launcher as a base, I've created a Steamlink version.

Awesome job, but yep it's a shame that the Steamlink app for RPi is proprietary to the hardware, as it'd be a wonderful addition to Moonlight on general ARM SBC's (and especially handhelds).
I tried it in December, there was no problem then, but now it doesn't work.
Has anything changed in your environment since December when it was working?

Nope. I don't have an RPi3, so it would be difficult to replace it.

I did a couple of tests today with clean installations of LE on my RPi4 and got the followiing results:
LE 10.0.4 --> works
LE 11.0.6 --> didn't work --> same issue as dtech posted above
LE 12.0.0 --> didn't work --> screen goes black and then the LE UI comes back
I did additional tests on my RPi3:

Tried to get this working on LE 12 on RPi4. It looks like it's not starting due to audio issues? This is not a fresh build and I'm a novice with this stuff. That said, here's the log file starting with trying to launch Steam Link...after end of log events is black screen and soft reboot to LE. Please let me know if additional info is required.

But I didn't took a deeper look into it, just checked the logs of the steam link launcher.
