I met strange behavior while playing some 4k videos. The sound starts normally, but without an image, which comes after a delay in one video it's 20 seconds in another 60 seconds and it's moved. What is the reason? Some buffering, something specific with the file format? What can I do with it? The problem occurred on the mkv file with codec H265 in 4K with 60 frames.
My platform: Rasberry CM 4
System: LibreELEC 11.0.3
Kodi: 20.2
Linux: 6.1.38
Interesting is that I met the same problem with those files in VLC on PC, but Celluloid played it without any problem. I also have some test video with H265 4k@60 and it works perfectly on rpi and VLC on PC.
File examples:

There are numerous iterations of these demo files available on the internet. Some have normal timestamps and encoding and some have been "remixed" resulting in strange or broken encoding that causes the kind of problems that you're flagging. Using the same files I see the same issues on RPi5/LE12 (same drivers/codebase as RPi4): audio playback on the Barcelona file starts within a second but I initially see the 'buffering' spinner, then a black screen, and it's approx. 16 seconds before the screeen switches to 4K and video appears.
TL/DR: You should watch movies not "test" media. I don't see any issues with real media.
popcornmix ^ for reference, some new content for the broken file collection

It's interesting because desktop players like Celluloid play video without any problem.
