MariaDB Add-on LE11

I'm currently running LE10.04 with the MariaDB addon and loving it.

Has anyone run LE11, with the MariDB addon ?

The nature of support forums is that users who don't have problems generally don't show up and post about their lack of problems. Hence you don't find posts about LE11 and the MariaDB add-on. It works; there are probably a few thousand people just using it

I guess you're scared because of this thread: Can't connect to MariaDB server after updating to 11.0.1

You can downgrade back to LE10 any time, so just try LE11, and report.

I have been running LibreELEC 10 (Kodi 19.5) with the MariaDB addon as a server on an ASUS Beebox computer very successfully for months. The Kodi client hardware I have used is:-

1. Amazon Firestick

2. Amazon Firestick Max

3. Amazon Firestick Cube (current version)

4. Android smart phone

5. Linux Laptop.

I dedided to upgrade as LibreELEC 11 (Kodi20) has had a final release.

ALL the clients upgraded without any configuration or issues.

LibreELEC upgraded but was unusable and required a complete reinstall to get to the same state I had with the previous version.

All good with LibreELEC 11 and the MariaDB server now.

Thanks to all involved with the development of the LibreELEC MariaDB addon it is excellent.
